The Pharmacological Sciences Department is hosting the 7th Annual FACES Symposium (Facilitating Awareness: Career Exploration for Scientists) on Thursday, May 18th from 10am to 3pm at the Hilton Garden Inn at Stony Brook University.
FACES is designed to expose graduate students to a variety of career paths both inside and outside academia. We have five guest speakers this year from the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology industry, science policy, science communication, and consulting. See the attached flier to learn more. This year’s event will include breakfast, coffee, a panel of speakers (detailed in the attachment), a Q&A session, networking, and lunch.
RSVPs are required by May 5th and there is limited capacity. Students can RSVP by filling out the form here, or by scanning the QR code on the flier.
